Mauly Geez was born in Oakland, Ca but raised all over the bay area including cities like Richmond, Vallejo, and Fairfield. At a young age while cleaning his Grandmother's house with his uncles he was influenced by music and artist such as Marvin Gaye, The Temptations, Al Green and Michael Jackson. (Just to name a few) A few years later he joined the children’s choir at Maglophen Temple Church in North Richmond. By the age of ten he began expressing himself through writing. Explaining his life through poems, short stories. Later he began exploring his talent with music by recording songs using a talk boy and a radio. At the age of 12 he formed a group called “The Rougty Boyz†with local friends from his neighborhood. At age 14 his uncle bought him and his brother a karaoke machine and a keyboard to record they’re music. Later he started performing at local parties, camps and talent shows to expand his performing ability. By the age of 15 he moved back to Oakland. While attending Oakland High he joined the Jazz band playing all types of instruments like the trombone, bass and the drums, and he also formed another group known as “2 Bad†with close friend “Chase Ebo†from West Oakland. After recording a 12 track audio cassette they progressed to sell they’re cd around Oakland. A year later he formed yet another group known as “The Full Tyme Hustlaz†with “Mac Stezzy Eâ€. They recorded two albums and a mixtape with a local upcoming group “THC†(Too Heated Click)
He later joined a non-profit known as Oakland Kids First/REAL HARD and recorded a conscious Hip Hop CD to promote teenage awareness in the urban community. A couple years later at the age of 18 he was offered a position to become CD Project Coordinator, to recruit and develop artist to record a 17 track album known as “Do It Movin Vol. 1†which had a song that featured in the Oakland Tribune. The album featured The FullTyme hustlaz, Queen Deelah, The Young Hustlaz, Sia, Lil Hyphy, Rhummanee, Domo, Will Bracy and Tierra. In the process of recording Do It Movin Vol. 1 he was featured on Bump Records Mixtapes “True 2 Life†Vol. 1 & 2, and also featured on Cov Records compilation “Silence the Violence".
After recording with Bump and Cov Records he has written, produced and recorded with many up and coming underground artist. In June 2006 he released The FullTyme Hustlaz album on his growing independent record label Ball Till We Fall Ent, the album features “Tony Fontaine, Melly Mel, Young Oak, Lil Sexy, Bizznes, Mac Stezzy E, Sia, Young Luwe and E. He is now working on his solo album featuring his hit single “Cali Love†and is also producing Ball Till We Fall artist such as Young Luwe, Yung Doejah, and Them Boyz.
