Andy Easton & the TIN ROOF: within weeks of reaching Atlanta, would become the Budweiser In Concert Series sponsored band, be added to major market radio locals programs, be accepted on network TV’s STARSEARCH, hailed as the "longest running Band" in STARSEARCH history. Andy will have already created 3 Eps, one full length CD "Face Up", all of which SOLD OUT within weeks of each release: a total of 20,000+ copies. Now available at 75 digital distributors including iTunes, Andy has gone on to create, craft, and release more great music and video.
*With 2002's "Echoes of Eden" release, Easton revisited his roots as a respected solo artist. His perfectly crafted songs like "What we Are", "Say Goodbye", "Blink" & "Before I Go" would reach the very core of his fans. Radio found "Echoes" adding it to rotation on 99X's Organic X, and be featured 4 times on their "Unplugged in the Park" series, and on the "Unplugged at Sea" concert, a Carnival cruise for fans with Atlanta band Collective Soul.
*2004 Easton releases "Unplugged in the Park" LIVE. A compilation CD/DVD available worldwide through "FilmBaby.com" and "CDBaby.com" and iTunes.
*2005 Easton releases: TIN ROOF "Sample Tracks" CD.
*2006 Easton forms the new TIN ROOF and releases the "GENERATOR" EP. "GENERATOR" will propel Andy Easton and the TIN ROOF back into the spotlight. Tune Core release Generator to iTunes Worldwide in 5 countries. Japan, Australia, Europe, Canada, and the U.S. *Artist First Radio Network Worldwide Streaming Interview. 2 hrs. *Music World 3D would follow suit, keeping the band on air for 2+ hours as well, and Microsoft’s "Rack Space" system crashed due to the overload of fans logging in. *In 2006 & 7, Universal Records Bill Richards asked Andy to "write a hit" for and upcoming female vocalist Nora J. The song he created "Cool Summer Day" was a 'home run’. Andy was then asked to write a second song for another upcoming artist. That song "Apology" is gaining viral response on Myspace along with Andy's newest tune "Selfish". *2007-8 brought Andy Easton into the international spotlight : European web site: NumberOneMusic.com Andy and the band have been in the Top 5 of two separate genres in the last 8 months. Country/Pop & Rock. The true story single “STAY†has been #1.The band has made the choice to stay in the Country/Pop genre and they are now in the #12- #22 spots of the All Time Top Chart with all 10 of the songs loaded to the site. Most of the tunes have been in the Top 2 of the entire site and ALL have been in the Top 4 since they were loaded.
Also in the European market of Italy, Andy has written a smash set of English lyrics for the Pop band "Momo Family". The tune "Animal" is being released to the US market this year and Andy and the band will be touring with Momo Family.
Other mainstream outlets have also been eager to showcase Easton's talent as a performer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist (in addition to acoustic and electric guitar, he also plays piano, ganjo, drums and bass) and is always being asked to play on his peer's upcoming recording projects.
Easton truly shines with the ability to stretch out musically and to connect with his audience. From the first moment of his performance he explodes onto the stage and doesn’t let up until the last note is played. Compared to the power, energy, and writing perfection of Bruce Springsteen, Keith Urban, Rob Thomas, Gary Allen , Mark Chestnut, Mickey Gilley, Paul McCartney, The New Country is Andy Easton.
My song "Do You Believe" is in a movie from NanoKat pictures in Atlanta, and its winning awards all over. here are some of the featured film fests.
