Stellan Colt

Started to play drums in school when I was 13 years old. I remember when we had a soundcheck before one of our first gigs and Anders Johansson (Hammerfall/Yngwie) came up to me and said - You can really become a drummer if you want to! That helped me for a long time through bands like: Plasma, Jessie James and Page. Then I hooked up with my old friends Johan Stentorp, Fredrik Bergengren and Patrik Ahlm and formed Time Gallery. We spent over five years together constantly recording, reharsing, touring and posing. We made two records that I´m still very proud of. After TG in the early nineties I started to play with everybody who wanted me, a very busy period:-) Studio in the daytime and playing on every stage in Malmö five days a week with bands as: Wiehe, Airheads, Eddie Nyström, Hardliners, Follin, Trondman, Willie Nile, Eric Bazilian, Claes Dorthé, Beagle.... In 1993 I went out on my first big tour with Fréda, followed by Rocktåget, Lisa Nilsson, Stefan Andersson. Then I produced Mikael Wiehes album Sevilla and went out on a big tour with him. After that I become a member of En Svensk TV-Orkester and we did a lot of work for the Swedish Television playing with every famous artist in Sweden. In shows like Centralen, Bumerang and Stereo we played with people like Robyn, Tomas Ledin, Louise Hoffsten, Sanne, Martin Stenmarck, Uno Sveningsson, Tommy Körberg, Olle Ljungström and the list goes on and on... We´re still playing together and the last gig we did was with Andreas Jonsson.These days I`m also producing and writing music with Omnichord and Mellotron. 30 years of drumming!!
