Since childhood, Jodie has studied piano and voice. She has worked with some of the best vocal coaches in the country, starred in many musical productions and performed in various venues. A former Junior Miss, Jodie received a full scholarship to college, were she studied Media Arts and International Studies. At Millersville University, Jodie was approached by many people for her clever eye in visual arts and her vocal presence. She edited corporate training videos for leading companies, edited music videos, ran the campus television station, hosted numerous events and television shows, spoke throughout the area, and became a notable voiceover talent.
After graduation she set out on the road with the International renowned Student Organization, “Up with Peopleâ€. As an event coordinator, she traveled across the United States organizing musical performances and securing thousands of dollars in local sponsorships in each city. Coordinating with five casts of 150 students each, she was responsible for ticket sales, logistics, sponsorships, housing, venue management, and all media and public relations.
After a year on the road, Jodie came back to Pennsylvania and settled in Philadelphia. She was immediately hired as the branch manager for Future Media Concepts, a visual media training center. Working closely with companies such as Avid, Pro-tools, and Macromedia, Jodie directed all training and instructor development at the Philadelphia location and was a key player in the development of the e-learning online initiative. Soon after, it became evident that her artistic side was strongly supported by her keen business sense. After taking a wine class for leisure at a local training center, she was approached to run the school and assist in the opening of new locations. Accepting the challenge, she led in all phases of development and opened three new successful locations in Pennsylvania and New Jersey and began teaching wine classes in her spare time.
Her business skills and her ability to restructure and systemize businesses, was once again recognized. One of the leading Real Estate developers in the country sought her out to work directly with him running his multi-billion dollar company in Philadelphia. To break it down for all the Hip-Hop listeners, J Mag (repping South Jersey) is hands down what the game needs. After meeting with Ccelli (C.E.O. of Exponent Ent.) Mag has excelled in his versatility and has gained artist respect from everywhere through out the country. Exponent Ent. has opened many doors for the South Jersey frontliner; and his buzz continues to grow. After shutting down such clubs as Samba (Phila., PA), Xandu (Phila., PA), Mannies (BX, NY), The Rotunda (Phila., PA) and numerous other locations; J Mag has been deligiant with attacking his audiance in every event. There are no shortcuts with this man's destiny..It's either go hard or go home!

The hip hop duo was born and raised in Philly. The name Da Heataz was the result of not one, but two of their apartments burning down back when they were roommates. Their sound is a result of their musical philosophy which reflects the creativity they’ve used to make their lives a success, “Don’t close the door on anything. Make songs according to life,†says S.O.V. something that would be an example of this…like they can make a song about being the life of the party and then a song about the trials of street life. Da Heataz emphasize the journey in the music. They excel by showing an average man’s point of view on the ups and downs of life in the inner city. Their beats bring the energy of regional hip hop from the south, the west, New York, and their flow is equally universal – with some of the unique flavor of Philadelphia thrown into the mix. Philadelphia has been their battle and their motivation, with much of their music inspired by their life in Philly.

Rich goes by the name of Rich "MotherF'in" Quick. Rich started writing rhymes in second grade, but quickly got his name in Jr. High by being the quickest spitter in the circle. It still holds true today because I'm still trying to get Rich Quick. In 7th grade, he linked up with Moesama and Young Loc to form the lethal local Hip Hop group Rag-Tag. Influenced by artists such as 2Pac, Nas, Atmosphere, Mos Def, Jay-Z, and Cassidy. Rich tries to consume everything that Hip Hop has to offer and regurgitate it back to the culture with his own cocky and sly interpretation. Rich is doing this for him - He's doing it for his family - and he's doing this for his fans.
