About Me

Hi. I'm a Cardiff-based, 27-year old with a music obsession: Rock, metal, indie, punk, dance and a bunch of other stuff - I've been writing, recording and performing for the last seven years. Over the last 12 months, I've moved into drum n bass production, writing under the name "Billy Gone Bad". I'm working towards an album with an emphasis on new sounds and I'm taking an open-minded approach in terms of influences, using live guitar as the source for many of these sounds. I just want to get these tracks out there and I'd be grateful to hear any feedback on them! I also play guitar in South Wales' voodoo Rock n Roll merchants "The October Country". We gig frequently and are currently in the process of preparing our second album for release. To read all about the October's shenanigans, check out www.myspace.com/theoctobercountry Previously to this, I spent 6 years playing guitar/singing/screaming/sweating/song-writing in Cardiff's alternative rock/metal band "Death To Plan A". We played close to 100 gigs, supporting bands including "Rachel Stamp", "Simple Kid", "The Locust", "Winnebago Deal", "Tokyo Dragons" and "Towers of London". The complications of mixing the band with general life led to things being put to rest for a year or so, but we've recently started things back up again with the addition of Czek on bass!
