Once upon a time, Lorraine moved from Leitrim to Dublin. She went to college. She finished her degree, but being the eager little thing she is, did another course. The Ceoltoir course. There she met Jacqui and Liz. They’re great craic so they became pals. Course finished and Liz went to big college in Galway. In the big college she met this young one called Mairead. Mairead was great craic so they became pals. Mairead was pally with Siobhan coz they’re from Sligo. Liz and Jacqui went to Donegal once for the craic. Jacqui had to share a room with Mairead and Siobhan so they had to become pals. Luckily Jacqui was great craic so they really got on well. Sometime or other Lorraine got introduced to the Sligo girls and they had a laugh. Everyone knows Joan and she’s awful good craic so it was inevitable that she’d be pals with the others. Thats enough people to have the craic with at the one time so they stopped makin friends.Hopefully they’ll all live happily ever after and have the best of craic along the way.Together, the girls had been considering forming a band for some time, and in January 2008 made their first public appearance in Bad Soden, Germany, where they seemed like such good craic that they had to wear masks to deter the papparazzi.
