Heroes:
A "hero" is defined as a person of distinguished courage or ability, admired for their brave deeds and noble qualities. That being said, there are only a handful of individuals I'd consider to be true heros. With the ability to change peoples lives and guide them in the right direction, I share with you some of my personal favorites:
Piers Morgan is a reality T.V. English celebrity that is best known for being a judge on America's got talent. He recently won first place as Donald Trump's Celebrity Apprentice. Although his demeanor and tact were severely lacking, his performance and convication to raising money for his charity (the Intrepid Fallen Heroes Fund ) on the show was jaw dropping. Here is a British born, arrogant, tea gulping elitest that has chosen to lend his time, energy and focus to an orgaization that supports injured and disabled AMERICAN soldiers. What a statement when a snotty Brit from overseas dedicates his time and efforts to help wounded AMERICAN veterans. Mr. Morgan, you are an AMERICAN HERO!!!
CHRIS GARDNER is the ultimate example of perseverance, will and determination. His struggle as a single father raising his only son and becoming a financial success was made into a major motion picture starring Will Smith called The Pursuit of Happyness. I think that after watching this movie, you too will agree that Chris Gardner is a real-life hero.
DR. LAURA SCHLESSINGER is an award winning author and radio talk show host dedicated to providing helpful insight, persepective and advice to life's everyday challenges, tragedies and opportunities. In the short time that I've been listening to her show and reading her books, I have found myself making positive changes in my own life. Probably the most under-rated and unrecognized song writer of our generation, MARTIN GORE is the ingenious song writer for Depeche Mode . For over 25 years, he's written unmatched musical works of perfection that no other group or entertainer has ever been able to match with respect to style, sound, sincerity or purity. This man has brought the world true gifts of music that I continue to treasure everyday of my life. Thank you Martin for being the muse of many of the most prolific songs to of ever been written, heard, enjoyed and cherished.
