The Meaning Of Life Is To Live It

About Me

I am a graphic designer by trade but my first love is music. I play guitar, bass, keyboards, drums, Chapman Stick, mandolin, charango, violin and lap steel guitar, all with wildly varying degrees of proficiency. I write and record my own songs at home - the ultimate self indulgence. You are listening to one of my songs right now and you can check out three more at my MySpace music page here .

I enjoy traveling and have visited four of the continents so far. (My background photo was taken on a trip to Namibia in 2002.) London and San Francisco are my favorite cities and Crater Lake in Oregon gets my vote for the most beautiful spot on the planet. I recently started working for US Airways, which has significantly improved my travel options. It's not unusual for me to hop a jet for Chicago, New York or San Francisco to catch a show by one of my favorite bands, which makes it easier to deal with living in a crappy music town.
