WOW! Its about time I updated this! I'VE BEEN SLACKIN'! Ok well My name is Matt and I go to SIU and its nothing short of a blast. I am majoring in finance and I will hopefully be done next year. I plan on a career as a project manager for a custom homebuilder when I graduate. I also plan on owning my own company at some point and investing in real estate on the side. I absolutely love all aspects of both industries and the $$$$ is definately a plus!! As far as my personal life, those of you who know me are well aware of the fact that these last few months have really taken a toll on me. My little sister died in a car accident in May and I miss her more than words can express so I'm not even going to try. I'm a rookie at this situation so I guess I'm learning how to deal with it as I go along. I've learned alot of things over the last few months though. I always used to take life for granted and I now know first hand tomorrow is never promised. I recently quit smoking after a 7 year bout with Marlboro Light. I guess I decided I don't want to see what the 12th round with that fucker has in store for me. I have an older brother who is also involved in construction and the kid might be the funniest person I've ever met. I absolutely love his girlfriend, Karrianne, and if he plays his cards right she could be my sister in law one day (hint hint)!! I play the guitar and it is my life. It goes with me everywhere I go and I feel like I'm running naked down Lake Shore drive at 4:30 pm on a friday when I don't have it by me. I LOVE the hell out of my friends and I really miss the ones from home. I also love sports, playing them and watching them, especially the Cubs and the Bears!!
