Hi everyone!
I am Linda, a 25 year old woman. I'm a student / singer / photographer etcetera from the Netherlands.
In my daily life, I study History, and I hope to specialize in the Early Modern War and Society History. That's up to me, because I have to choose my classes carefully. I'm what you call a student forever, I don't want to work yet!
Besides my study, I tend sing a lot. I've sung since I was a little child, sang in a choir for a very, very long time until I moved to Utrecht and didn't have the time anymore.
Three years ago, I started taking singing lessons with Floor Jansen . She helped me to improve my technique, sound and interpretation. For that, I'm very very grateful.
I started singing in bands from 2001 on, and I currently sing in two bands.
Since September 2006 I'm a part of Android Soul , a symphonic progressive rock/metal band, which has sought to combine bombastic symphonic elements with firm power metal. We've signed a record contract with PMM Records in June 2007, and our album, Disappointing Paradise is scheduled for October/November 2007.
Icaros is my second band which I joined in August 2005. More powermetal than Android Soul, but evenso symphonic. We're (still) recording our first demo, which is going to be called Awaiting Seasons. Hopefully, the release is this fall!
I am also a concert photographer! I used to shoot a lot more pictures and recently, I've only taken pictures for a few bands and people, but it is still one of my biggest hobbies. Pictures of the most recent concerts can be found at http://www.frozenleaves.com/cpg !
Furthermore, I have a very sweet boyfriend, and a lovely cat who spends his day sleeping around. I'm pretty content. :)
