All that equals HYPNOLOVE. After meeting the right people with the right affinities, Hypnolove manage to release a first EP with a radical italo dance twist. Produced by French house late 90’s passenger “Catalan FCâ€, this EP will land on Jacques Lucont’s turntable and end up on his mixed compilation for his own edition of the notorious FABRIC Live CD’s... the myth is on its way...
It’s also coming across this EP and a couple of their live acts that Record Makers will end up signing them. Seduced by their ability to write very playful tunes and to show them live without being boring (unlike 99% of electronic acts at the time). A couple of more years later, Hypnolove and Record Makers are proud to introduce you Eurolove.
Eurolove is a bit like your first kiss... Fresh and emotional... It’s so evident it actually already sounds like a best of. It has Portuguese, German, French, Italian, English songs. It can be danced to at slow paste, slamming paste, techno paste, rocking... it has laughs, tears, seduction, despair, romance .. It has LOVE and it really makes ones mind travel...
But above all, it features this huge synth’ disco hit « Mademoiselle ». An ode to seduction viewed from a despaired latin lover trying to hit on a beautiful mademoiselle in a French riviera high class discothèque... It is the most innovative mixture of 70’s nostalgia, modern pro- duction, French lyrics and most importantly joy and sadness in the same track... Paradoxical feelings, isn’t that what the French are about? EUROLOVE contains 12 tracks, one instrumental, 11 songs. It was produced by Julien Briffaz from French electro act TEKEL and by Renaud Letang , French producer for Gonzales, Manu Chao, Jane Birkin, Feist, Tekila tex etc... It was recorded in 2005 ; mixed and released in 2006...
