Thats a damn good question. I seem to spend alot of time reading in the evenings these days. Bars and clubs seem to bore the hell out of me anymore and I don't have any cash to be blowing on drinks anyway. This summer I'd like to go canoing and ride some roller coasters and get out on my crotch rocket. Other then that, I guess I'm up for ideas.
I have no preconceived notion of who or what my friends should be or act like, so just "Be true to thine ownself". You can fake who or what you are, and I may or may not pick up on it. But YOU know who and what you are. Don't be afraid. I'm very open and open-minded, and it's not my job to judge my friends nor anyone else, even if I don't agree with them....
I like a little bit of everything. If it's been played umpteen-million times on the radio though, I'm probably sick of whatever it is... And country falls at the bottom of my music list, but some of it is okay too. Here are a few groups so you can get the idea: Celldweller, Crystal Method, David Bowie, Garbage, Goldfrappe, Gorillaz, Green Day, 311, Limp Bizkit, Linkin Park, Madonna, No Doubt, Olive, Pet Shop Boys, Republica, Rob Zombie, Seal, Stabbing Westward, System of a Down, Wang Chung and so on... I like most 80's, swing and classical music but I like to keep up with the new things out there too! I'm always up for suggestions for something new to try out.
Independent films, coming of age movies, gay genre, mainstream movies that have comedy and/or substance. Okay, and a movie can have no substance as long as it has a hot guy (or guys) who take their shirts off at some point. Seriously.
TV sucks. I mean it really does. There are probably 3 or 4 TV shows that I would watch, but I'm not going out of my way to try to watch them.
I read. History, classic literature, modern literature, architecture... If you read too, kudos!
Really, this may sound kinda dopey, but my heroes are friends, or really anyone who can broaden my horizons, and teach me something about myself. *** "The future belongs to the people who believe in the beauty of their dreams"
