SEATTLE TIME:My main interests revolve around music. I love to listen to it and I love to make it even more. I often jam out on my bass guitar. It's a blue Ibanez Soundgear and I love it. Here's a pic:

I am completely obsessed with Astronomy (not to be confused with Astrology). I personally feel the universe is the resulf of intelligent design and often marvel at thhe wonder of such beautiful creation. We are so small on the planet and yet as far as we know, unique in the universe when it come to living on a life-sustaining planet. This is a video showing all the planets and stars to scale. Very astounding:I also love being outdoors and going on hikes. Here are some pics from a trip to Mt Si:

People who know that the life they are living is not the one they were intended to live. People who desire a better life for themselves, people who have not lost the ability to dream. A dreamer will always attract other dreamers, like a moth to a flame. I also hope to some day meet the future members of my band that will soon tear up the music scene as well as many of the bands that I love. And one day, I will meet my Lord and Savior, the true example of love and sacrifice.

I love music. It is my passion, it is what drives me. It fuels my soul and propels me to want to live my dream, to create music, to eat breathe and sleep music. It is why I am building a business that will allow me to be able to one day afford to self fund my own music projects. It is my calling, not to sit at a cubicle all day, but to make music and share it with others. I have a lot of influences and favorites, but my ultimate favorite is and will always be: 311. I also love Incubus, Live, Dave Matthews Band, Death Cab For Cutie, The Shins, Chevelle, Guster, A Perfect Circle, AFI, Bad Religion, Bush, Cold, Coldplay, Collective Soul, Damien Rice, Deftones, Depeche Mode, Dido, Dissociatives, Fall Out Boy, Foo Fighters, Fuel, Green Day, Institute, Jack Johnson, Jimmy Eat World, Jet, Johnny Cash, Kaiser Chiefs, Keane, Led Zepplin, Linkin Park, John Mayer, Metallica, Nickel Creek, Nirvana, Pearl Jam, POD, Rage Against The Machine, REM, Silverchair, Snow Patrol, Spoon, Sublime, System Of A Down, Tenacious D, The Cure, The Killers, The Postal Service, The Verve Pipe, The White Stripes, Third Day, Third Eye Blind, TOOL, Trust Company, U2, Violent Femmes, Weezer, Yellowcard, and much, much more. This is 311:

Essentially, I'm not as big on movies as I am on music, but I'd say comedies are my favorite. One of my all time favorite comedies would have to be Dazed and Confused. Napolean Dynamite is one of my most recent favorites and really anything that the Farelly brothers do is great, Dumb and Dumber, Stuck On You, Me, Myself and Irene, Shallow Hal, they're all great. Monty Python movies are also classic in my book, espeically The Holy Grail and Life Of Brian. If I had to pick my favorite movie(s) of all time, I suppose I'd have to say the original Star Wars trilogy, because it's badass! In the same sense, I also loved the Lord Of The Rings trilogy as well. Some of my other all time favorites are, the Back To The Future trilogy, The Matrix, Office Space, The Indiana Jones trilogy, all of the Christopher Guest movies, especially Best In Show and A Mighty Wind, the Terminator trilogy, The Mothman Prophecies, The Harry Potter movies, Dances With Wolves, Dead Poets Society, Sin City, X-Files the movie and the list goes on with too many to list.

I don't watch much TV, but right now I am obsessed with basically four shows right now. First is pretty much my favorite show ever FAMILY GUY! It is the funniest damn show on TV (in my humble opinion) which is now about 100 times funnier than The Simpsons (which I have always liked, it's just now they're getting lame). The only other show that gives Family Guy a run for their money, would be South Park, which I also really love. The second show I am obsessed with is Lost. I don't know why exactly, but it is so captivating and addicting. I watch it every week hoping for more answers to my questions, but when I do, more questions come up and are left unanswered! It is a great show. Third, would be my quasi-reality show fix, Mythbusters on The Discovery Channel. I watch it every week and love all the cool experiments they do and was as the humor of the show. It's highly addictive. My main reality fix is probably Survivor. I can't describe why I like it so much, but I do. I'd never be on it, but I sure like watching people plot behind each others backs and I like to try and guess who will be voted off each week. As far as some of my favorite TV shows go, in recent years I always loved That 70s Show (up until it's last year, which is sad), the short lived show Roswell, Chappelle's Show, and I used to love X-Files, Buffy The Vampire Slayer, and The Simpsons back in the day. TV has never really been a huge part of my life, but some shows just grow on you.

The most intriguing book to me has to be The Bible. It is always the number one selling book every year and I think that in itself is incredible. It is definitiely an important part of my life. Some of my other all time favorites would be, The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton, which I think I must have ready about 20 times. Sadly, and ironically, I don't own it though, as my copy was lent out and never returned. I also love the Harry Potter series, which are so captivating, so matter what age you read them. Recently, I have been reading a lot of books, more than in the past and I have read some awesome ones including, Wild at Heart by John Eldredge, The Dream Giver by Bruce Wilkinson, How To Win Friends And Influence People by Dale Carnegie (which is a must read for anyone looking to learn how to simply conect with other people), A Language Older Than Words, Hung by the Tongue, The Catcher in the Rye, and many more than I cannot begin to think of off the top of my head. Someone once told me something amazing about books. He said "Did you realize that books are alive? Books are alive and always changing. When you read a book, it will read as if it was written for you. What you take out of it, will be drastically different from what I take from it. Read it a year later and it will be different than the year before. That is why they are alive."

My biggest heroes have always been my parents, because they were able to provide a better life for me and my brother and sister, than they had for themselves (especially my dad). My odler brother has always been a person I have always looked up and has been a hero to me in many ways. I also feel that people who willingly join the Armed Forces to defend this country are extremely heroic, and while people may not all agree with what they fight for or in, I myself cannot deny that these are brave individuals! Now as far as superheroes go, my favorite was always Wolverine from the X-Men, a close second would be Batman. I think everyone has a favorite superhero. What's yours?
