I'm a part-time bartender in south Seattle (aka the SoDo district or the rough part), and I love it-for the most part. I also sell PartyLite candles which is sorta new for me, but a lot of fun. I think it is pushing me to become more outgoing with people I have never met. In my spare time I like to chill with my super rad husband cause I don't get to see him enough. I also like to go out on girls nights--we have a lot of those.
Guilty Pleasures: Watching While You Were Sleeping to get in the mood for the holidays. Playing swing music on the jukebox at work when the longshoremen are there for lunch. Scrubbing a dirty floor or sink or car for that matter and watching it get clean. Singing in the car on my way to and from work cause no one can hear--you know you do it too!! Planning my next party, be it PartyLite or otherwise.
Things I love: 1)Spending quality time with people I care about. 2)Being constantly reassured that my dog loves me by knocking me over if I want to walk in the other room. 3)Trying to type or mess around on the computer when one of my cats decides they have to have attention right now. 4)Making dinner with my husband and dancing with my husband. 5)Sitting in the dark in front of the fireplace while dozing. 6)Getting all gussied up to go out on the town with no particular plans in mind. 7)Penguins!!
