I am here for Friends

About Me

I was born and raised in California, but now that I've grown up and seen the truth I've decided to move to Tennessee. The only thing I miss about CA are my family, friends and the ocean - other than that, I don't miss that liberal-run state. All the free choice, environmentalist, gay rights, anti-oil drilling, and animal rights activists can kiss my ass. I'm a country girl and Tennessee is where I'm originally from (about 3 generations back). I love God, I love my husband, and I love my horses (in that order). I have 3 sons - Prince (12), Tex (7) and Diesel (2). Those of you who know me understand what I mean by that, but you're all welcome to think I'm wierd because of that statement and the following statements. My goal in life is to live for God and to serve Him - to love Him, follow Him, worship Him and learn His word. To be a warrior for Him. I'm going to do this by serving my husband and trying hard to be a Godly wife. When I have children, I will bring them up in the way of the Lord so that they will be blessings to my husband and to God.

My Interests

Horses, Fox Hunting, Swing Dancing, Traveling and Reading.

Music:

I enjoy most genres of music including, but not limited to, Country, Classic Country, Classic Rock (60's, 70's, 80's), any other oldies all the way back to the 40's, Blues, Blue Grass, Big Band, and Classical. I do not like rap or hip hop.

Movies:

I can't remember all of the movies I've ever watched and liked, but my recent favorites are Walk The Line, Troy, and 300. Some of my all time favorites are Grease, National Velvet, International Velvet and the Anne of Green Gables series.

Television:

Don't have it, don't want it.

Books:

I like mysteries (as long as they're not too scary) and romance novels (as long as they're not too mushy). I like anything by Francine Rivers. I'd have to say my all time favorite book was the Black Stallion.

Heroes:

Jesus (for saving me) and my mom for being the most selfless person I know. If I can be half the wife and mother that my mom is, I will consider myself a success in life.
