They have been playing music together since 1995, in an assortment of bands, coming together as Friendly Fire in 2001. Jordon Zadorozny, of Blinker the Star and producer of Sam Roberts,Hole and Mellisa Auf der Mar, has produced their first self titled LP released September 2007 in the United States, the UK and Canada December 2007.This year they have played with or will play with a very impressive list of bands such as Propaghandhi, ZUKU, Straight Face,The Rebel Spell,The Red Hot CHillie Peppers,Nine Inch Nails,Poison,Gwen Stephanie,GFK and Kill Cheerleader!Recently, Pierre Killeen, an Ottawa-based businessman/lawyer has begun to manage the band, introducing them to contacts in the music business in Montreal, Los Angeles and Vancouver.Friendly Fire is (finally) set to burn bright this year with the announcement that they will join the Eurorock tour September 2007!! This is a tour for peace that will take Friendly Fire across 6 countries along with a show in LA that will have attendance of 80 000!
