About Me

John Palmer was born in Silver Spring Md. He has been playing and performing music for over twenty years in the D.C. Baltimore area. Attended the University of maryland Jazz studies program where he studied with Tom Baldwin and Chris vadalla. He also studied with local jazz greats Victor Dvoskin, Paul wingo, John Previti, and Scott Giambuso. In addition to being a working musician he is an Authorized Sales Rep for the hendriksen Jazz Amp which he uses exclisively. He is currently performing with many groups in the Washington D.C.-Baltimore metropolitan area including Sarah Fridrich band, Gary Montenero Quartet, Mike Gillispie Quartet, Sunday Jazz brunch Trio, Scott Mattern Trio, Kevin Jefferson Quartet, Night and Day Music and many others too numerous to list.
