Tru - Hef is in the building...ha ha!!!....what's good y'all I gotta let you know a little about me.
Tru Hef, I'm not merely an artist. I am music. Combining God given talent with education and natural awareness to bring a sound unlike any you ever heard of. I've been compared to the likes of Tupac, Nas, Jay-Z, Common and Kool G. Rap, now that's an elixir for raw/real, entertaining and pure emotional music for you to ride to, vibe to, and lean to.
Born in Saramento California and raised in Corona Queens one of the 5 boroughs in New York City gives me perhaps the upperhand in the game right now. I'm one of the most diverse entertainers/urban poets to take the streets in a long time. Since I first wrote my own lyrics at the age of 10 I feel I have the ability to conjure up songs and ideas never before thought of by anyone in the game right now.
Hef ain't just an artist he's a genius performing, writing, and even assisting in all projects. Working with the Backhouse Productionz team has allowed me to bring you music you never thought existed. With influences ranging from the late 60's to modern day you have what some say may be the most versatile artist to date.
My catalogue consists of 6 albums with the 7th currently in the works. I'm both exciting and tantalizing in and with my performances. I will provide you music which I consider to be deep and meaningful professed from a powerful voice, and a style/flow unknown to man. This raw talent makes Tru Hef the leader in the next generation of artists in the genre of music.
