DJ Daddy Dre brings together all the essentials of great Hip-Hop, R&B, Reggae, House, Rock & Soul plus Old School Classics with precise timing and overwhelming passion that you get the feeling that he has experienced life and learned a lot to provide such a musical treat. His impeccable style makes him one of the most sought after DJs in the country. Part of what sets Daddy Dre apart from most DJs is his natural ear for music, his versatility plus the drive to please and a tenacity that he credits from being blessed with a powerful talent and his life experiences.
Sean Andre aka Daddy Dre who was born and raised in New York City was influenced by his Haitian and Jamaican background plus after being dubbed Dre as a teenager, became popular when on a dare he won a series of local DJ contests with landslide wins. He then found his niche and fell in love with the art of DJing.
He was sighted as a budding talent while attending college and was scooped up by College Radio station WSNC-FM. Not long after, he was propositioned for an On-Air Mixshow position with one of the top radio stations in North Carolina WJMH-FM 102 Jamz. After 5 years on the air he then returned to New York in 2000 after being recruited by Def Jam records for a mixshow promotions position and eventually became one of the founding members of IKONZ Entertainment. http://www.theikonz.com
In 2005 he then relocated to Atlanta to launch the IKONZ Entertainment DSD (Dirty South Division) and has been recruited by MRL Entertainment to be the official tour DJ for international reggae dancehall artist Lee Danja.
