First off, my name is Valerie. I'm 27 years old and have lived in El Paso all my life. I am the mother of 2 beautiful kids. Ryan and Alexis - my greatest gifts. I have a good job that I don't hate to go to every morning. I have a wonderful family who have been nothing but supportive of all my life decisions -- even the bonehead ones. I love you Mom, Dad, Shorty Bean and Crystal Anne for being there for me all these years. I'd be lost without you. I have a handful of good friends - u know who u are! - for which I am grateful for. I've been lucky enough to find the most wonderful man who I can't help but fall more and more in love with everyday. He continues to make me the happiest of all women to have him in my life. I LOVE YOU TIM!
I thank God everyday for where I'm at today. I am a great person. It took me a while to say that (and believe it). But I just want to make sure everyone knows it. :) And no, I'm not conceited!! Ask anyone who knows me...they'll agree. I'm just a dork and damned proud. I'm ME and that's the only person anyone should aspire to be - YOURSELF!!

My Interests

I love to hang out with friends and family doing pretty much anything. I think that any activity can be tons of fun if you're in the right company. And usually no matter where I'm at or what we're doing, my friends and I have fun. Cuz we're crazy. Mostly like to go dancing, watch movies, play pool, whatever tickles our fancy at the time.

Music:

I love mostly all types of music!! Country, Rock, Alternative, Industrial, Hip Hop, R&B, Classical, Electronic, Punk......If it sounds good, has a good beat, or says something I can relate to, it doesn't matter what category it falls under. My tastes are pretty versatile. I don't ever like to stick to only one category....Variety is the spice of life!!

However, I will say that my favorite genre is Country. Nine times out of ten that's what is on my radio station in the car. There always seems to be a country song that fits whatever mood I'm in...

Movies:

I like to watch Romantic Comedies, Suspense Dramas, and Scary Movies. Not that big on action films other than ones with lots of fight scenes. I also like a lot of independent film/foreign films.

Television:

HOUSE TOTALLY KICKS ASS!!!!!!!
I don't get to watch too much T.V. lately....but I try not to miss Law & Order SVU and CI. That's a must see in my book.

No matter what obstacles life has set before him throughout his lifetime, he continues to overcome each one and always strives for the best. He never settles for anything but. He inspires me to push forward when life is getting me down.

My Mom.
She's always there when you need someone to give you advice or just listen. She is ready and willing to help out a friend in need, and never expects anything in return. I know that no matter what's going on with me, she's always there for me to turn to. To know her is to love her.
