About Me

I'm a graduate student in the Achitecture program at RISD...people generally seem to think I have my life together, which is pretty funny to me. I'm a very dedicated person, and I'm passionate about art...I'm in the process of exploring architecture as a way to challenge myself, I guess...but I draw, paint, sculpt, print, carve, and evrerything else. I also make these groovy t-shirts with my twin sister, check 'em out at benfranklinismyhomeboy.freewebspace.com, they're pretty cool. what else...I love the gym, I go almost every day and it's a great way for my to feel good and keep from going crazy. The thing my friends probably say most about me is that I'm funny, but also down to earth. I also like really good music, and I like to dance. I'm pretty open minded, but I like it when people keep the bullshit to a minimum...

My Interests

Art, Architecture, rigerously seeking a higher order and multiplicity of function, Science, History, Dancing, Maine, singing while I walk home at 4 in the morning, driving to nowhere, really good kisses, becoming a champion whistler, adventures with my twin sister, going to the gym, sailing, partys with interesting guests, staying up till 3 am just talking about life...

I'd like to meet:

...anyone cool, but bonus points if your a smart young man with a sense of humor. Step to the front of the line if you're about my age and easy on the eyes. Tall guys are a major plus!

Music:

Ani, Alanis, Susan Egan, the soundtracks to Wicked, Chicago, The Triumph of Love, I also like Missy Elliot. ...Mimi is the only one who can consistently do R&B with a shred of dignity and class

Movies:

I firmly believe that "Sister Act", "Ever After", "Contact" and "Air Force One" are four of the most underrated movies of our time. I also love Chicago, Trick, The Wizard of Oz, Wedding Crashers and Shrek II

Television:

I don't really watch t.v., but I to think that Will and Grace is pretty memorable.

Books:

Naked and Barrel Fever, A Series of Unfortinate Events, Pale Blue Dot, Treasure Island, Steel Beach, The Butter Battle Book...haha...Is it possible I'm the only gay guy who didn't think Wicked was that big of a deal?

Heroes:

Oscar Wilde, Carl Segan, Rosa Parks, Anne Frank, Emily Dickinson, John Singer Sargent, and anyone else with the balls to tell it like it is...
