AETERNUM

...resurrected from the dead...

About Me

Aeternum was formed in 1999, influenced by Euronymous' BM movement, as well as classic heavy metal. The result was a violent, yet melodic approach to metal, the likes of which were unique, especially in their native Los Angeles. In 2001, Aeternum played their first gig in Huntington Park, and quickly earned a reputation as one of the most original and talented bands around. A strong cult following would soon develop with numerous gigs played in backyards, projects,,and warehouses in neighborhoods throughout South Central L.A., El Monte, Hawaiian Gardens, and other barrios. The band soon recorded a 4 song demo entitled "In the Darkness Reflection," which was well received by most fans of brutal black metal. The culmination of all these events would lead to a treasured spot at the infamous Gathering of the Bestial Legion Fest, where they shared the stage with such legendary acts as Incantation and Deicide. 2005 would mark the end of Aeternum's growing legacy, to the dismay of the original members and their followers. This was due to certain member's unwillingness to perform at the level which had originally made them such a powerful force. However, all would not be lost, as 2007 would see the rebirth of Aeternum when original members Kurse, Griim, and D-Muerte would meet an enthusiastic guitarist named Ed Demon, joining forces once more to make their mark in a local scene which they had influenced, as well as abroad. Aeternum is currently rehearsing and composing new material for an upcoming release in 2008. I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)
