About Me

Hello! My name's Becky.
I was born and raised in a tardis-like terraced house in Dunstable, Bedfordshire, UK. I took my first steps on a flight from the UK to Australia - walking in the air. My mum is wonderwoman. Everything I do is dedicated to her. Growing up with 6 brothers and 2 sisters has been a blast. We can be kinda Brady-like when the guitars come out to play. I love it.
I like to stick postcards all over my door. Send me your cards in the post. Or bring one to a show. We will be best friends forever.
I've been playing the guitar for longer than you'd believe. I don't practise very often, but I've been told that a few simple chords will get you by! I'm better at playing the piano but it's a little less portable.
I believe in the power of music to communicate with people regardless of where they're from or who they are. That's why I write silly things about boys. Deep.
One of these days, I'll get some proper recordings done.
I have big plans for clapping and xylophone solos. But until then, I'd love for you to put up with these buzzing, lo-quality songs. It's been a long time coming for some of them. But all of them have a meaning and a story. I'll tell you sometime. Come over for coffee, and bring your singing voice!

Yum.

These quotes might not mean much to you, but they're the world to me...
"You, my friend, are quite the lyricist. Wonderful voice and melodies, too." - Josh Wilson

"I really like your music! It sounds genuine and earthy!" - Hello Big World!

"Nice style - folk musicians are almost always kind and true." - Matt Chartier

"made of love and rainbows" - Citrus Grove

"I don’t think you can blame boys, or girls in fact, for remembering distinctive features of another person rather than their name." - Brian Leask

"A little bit of Feist, sprinkled with some Ben Kweller, this girl may indeed have a future in the music biz!" - Brandon Wellcome

"Perfection" is a beautiful philosophical song. I quite enjoy it when one cares about the lyrics, just as much as they do the melody. In this song you've accomplished both. Bravo! - The Honey Tongue

"I've been singing So Easy for like the past hour haha. They get stuck in your head, which is definitely a good thing!" - Lauren Brumley
