Maxim Pritula was born in Odessa, the Ukraine, in 1985. He grew up with his mother, grandmother and his older brother. At the age of twelve, Maxim..s music teacher recognized his talents and persuaded him to join the local chorus group. It was there that he began to develop his talents and skills in singing and playing the guitar. When Maxim was fourteen, he decided to travel to Jerusalem on his own. He lived and studied in Isreal for two years, living an almost kosher life and eating too many falafels. After two years he returned to the Ukraine.. At the age of sixteen, Maxim started singing at a baptist church chorus and also giving solo performances during Service Mass. As well as singing in the chorus, Maxim started composing his own music; songs and lyrics in his head inspired from life situations and relationships. He decided to persue this more extensively, and set about improving his guitar playing and musical knowledge, so that he could effectively express the music that he composed in his head. Maxim also began private music lessons, studying guitar and musical composition more deeply. At eighteen, Maxim migrated to Germany with his mother and grandmother. He worked for love in a music, in his new home town of Erfurt, to collect new experiences about singing and playing music, while at the same time taking music lessons. Three years on, Maxim is back at the same school, but as a senior student learning piano composition. Today Maxim is a rising star in the national music scene. He is arousing interest with local nationaland international music producers. Currently, Maxim is working on a debut album which could be released later on this year. After the success of his most recent concert performance in the renound Togo music venue - Maxim..s music is quickly gaining in popularity. With his international looks, his rich velvety chocolate voice, and his down to earth, easy going personality - Maxim Pritula - is a fine up and coming new talent to not only listen to but to look out for
