-Fredrick Buechner---So I realize that, strangely enough, my life doesn’t stay exactly the same. Weird. So it only makes sense then to not say too much about what I'm doing now, because that will change - but I will mention some things that I know NEVER will. The most important of these things is my love for Jesus. I hate that this is said by so many people, even (especially) here in myspace, but then you see the very same person talk about how they got trashed last night, make sex jokes, and use His name in vain . . . I am not one of those people. I am not perfect either - but I do strive to make this dedication to my Savior not just something I say because it is cool or even controversial, but because I mean it, and truly do try to live it - in my thoughts, my words, my actions . . .I want to represent Him well in all I am. That really is what my life is about. The cool part is that this makes my life even more exciting…and that God really does know my dreams and desires…and He actually is giving me those things. Some of those things seem to come more slowly than others…but I know that His timing is better than mine. I’m learning everyday what it means to TRUST that He does know what’s best for me…haha…I have so far to go on that one…but I know that He is more than worthy of my trust…so I just need to stinking get over myself:).I am passionate about knowing the Bible so that I can know my God better, so that I can love Him better. I am passionate about being available to the Lord to use me according to His will, and He is faithful to continue to show me day by day what that is. I know that I get very excited about helping people to see Jesus for who he really is, and through that see lives change. No matter where I find myself in life that will always be something I care intensely about.
