Skavenger is a blend of influences ranging from the 60s to modern day rock, combining a bit of psychedelic free-style with a modern/Southern rock sound.
"There is something for everyone in our arsenal. And if not... chances are... there will be sooner or later."SKAVENGER came about as a collaboration between Trannon Lee Goble (singer/songwriter) and various musicians including Richard Lynch, Scott Hensley (Tyrade/Tragic Flaw), Michael Thompson, Steve Patton, Chris Cowart (Deception/Tragic Flaw) & Matt Welch (Deception/Tragic Flaw).
SKAVENGER continues today utilizing some of the best musicians and experimental ideas. Skavenger is all about VARIETY and Rock n' Roll.
In 2007, Skavenger played a Summer tour which included performing at the Goodstock 2007 Rock Festival with 60s and 70s legends and other popular indie bands, the AT&T Field (Lookouts Stadium) in Chattanooga, TN. for the American Cancer Society, the Masquerade in Atlanta and the 1,000 biker BikerFest Cruise-In in Eton, GA.
Currently, Skavenger is the solo project of Trannon Lee Goble. A new CD will feature various musicians and styles.
Influences include: Steppenwolf, Led Zeppelin, Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver, Soundgarden, Stone Temple Pilots, Alice In Chains, Black Sabbath, Black Label Society, Lynyrd Skynyrd, AC/DC, The Black Crowes, and Metallica.
