About Me

About me:

any idiot can face a crisis, it's the day-to-day living that wears you out

-anton chekhov
my name's danielle.
i am a bicycle enthusiast, avid reader, frequent napper, scrabble champ. i make things, take pictures, write, read, cook, knit.
i like a good cup of tea, a good movie, a good book, going to the flea market, going to a thrift store, collecting things, being outdoors, going on adventures, listening to music, seeing new things and places.
i'm not down with drugs or drama, and i don't have time in my life for negative people.
i keep an open mind about politics and religion.
i'm excited to start seeing the world.
i speak three languages, besides english.
i've taken french for five years, and i just started learning spanish and german.
i love to learn new things.
most importantly, i love the people who surround me.
they have gotten me this far.
but i'm always eager to meet new people.

Well, I think that's about it.
I have a giant to-read list though.
Currently, I'm reading:
The Book of Laughter and Forgetting by Milan Kundera.
Moby Dick by Herman Melville (which isn't as dry as I thought it was going to be) I'm up for suggestions. :)
