In order to find his equal, an Irishman is forced to talk to God.

About Me

I can stare down a rattlesnake, I can out-wrestle a grizzly bear, and I can make a crocodile cry. In the morning, Satan looks up and trembles and says "Oh CRAP, he's awake!" I love my family with a ferocity that is unrivaled in the human genome. As drummers go, I'm cocky sometimes and modest most of the time. I realize I have a talent, and I don't want to take it for granted. I continue to be a student, because when you stop learning, you stop growing and then become stagnant. ***I endorse Detroit Custom Drum Company equipment - Sammy O does an incredible job puting kits together and putting gnarly graphics on 'em at an affordable price. I've played the best kits out there, and DCDC leaves them in the dirt. I also endorse Silver Fox drumsticks***Layout made by fainaru at CreateBlog.com .

My Interests

Music. I am a drummer, and I recently committed to a new band that has been aound for a few years. We have our first show on May 12th, so if you're interested, come check us out. Message me and I'll give you details. The band's name is Liquid Reality. I sincerely hope that I can enhace their sounds with my style of playing... The Kazoo Funk Orchestra – The Jagables

I'd like to meet:

I'd like to meet anyone and everyone. I'm not picky about who I meet, but I am extremely cautious with who I become close with. If you're in my close circle though, there's nothing I wouldn't do for you.Anyhow, most of the people I'd like to meet I've already met.

Music:

I still love Irish Punk, like Dropkick Murphys and The Tossers, and Therapy? (yes, the question mark is supposed to be there), but I also listen to gospel musicians like Tye Tribbet, Fred Hammond, and the master himself - Israel Houghton. Lately also, I have been listening to Pillar's last two albums nonstop.

Movies:

Last movie I saw in the theatre was "300" and although it wasn't completely historically accurate, it did cover most of the main points and was extremely entertaining.

Television:

This year has really been a year where I've gotten into TV shows. Monday is "Heroes" - Tuesday is "House" - Wednesday is "Lost" - Thursday is "Gray's Anatomy" - Friday is "Man vs. Wild".

Books:

New books read: The Prestige, by Christopher Priest - Cold Mountain, by Charles Frazier - The Gallic Wars, by Juilius Caesar.

Heroes:

Next to Jesus Christ, my father is my number one hero. Aside from them, every man within the Special Operations Community who gave his life for his country is a Hero to me as well. Other than that, there are several people that I hold in extremely high regard. My brother Michael is one, and my best friend Jason Dedzej is another.

My Blog

All right... time to re-introduce myself

So in the past week, I've had quite a few new friend requests from people I've never met - or met and forgot on Friday due to the unfortunate series of altercations. Since the common thread of people ...

Ranger Maxims

Yesterday, I was thinking of little bits of advice and other things I'd encountered while in the service. I know some of you may have read lists like this in the past, but these are things I encounter...

Is this thing on?

Haven't posted in awhile. To tell the truth, I haven't had a ton of time. This post is mainly just a test to see if anyone's out there. Do people actually read the stuff I write, or is this all just f...

I've found a chink in my own armor...

... and it's ugly initials are MRI. Had an MRI tonight. Claustrophobic doesn't even come CLOSE to what I felt, in a tiny pod, unable to move 'cause my arms were pinned to my sides - cutting circulaito...

Can't sleep, where's my soapbox?

So I can't sleep. I don't really know what I'm going to write, so I guess I'm going to just start putting letters into words, words into sentances, and so on until I decide whether what I've written ...

Death to Fire Ants

We conducted some ungodly movement one night, for many, many miles, and set up a patrol base in a low lying piece of terrain somewhere in Ft. Benning. I was very new in Ranger Battalion, o...

Wanna fight? I'll fightcha...

So it's Friday. We got paid and got the rest of the day off for Bills and Beer, so I head to Burger King in the Blue Bastard. The Blue Bastard was something of a legend in my company. It was a 90 Che...

Yeah, I know... it's been awhile.

So I'll just jump in with a colorful anecdote that I was thinking about the other day that still makes me chuckle. My first helecopter ride. See, I was about 18, and newly frocked Ranger, but I still ...

Family Stories - Part 3

Moms are awesome. They're that perfect blend of coddling, cuddling, pissed-off, curiosity, and supporting all rolled into one ball of estrogen-drenched...motherdom. Some little known facts about mothe...

Family stories... Part 2

Okay, so I've covered my sister basically. Well, I've covered her at age 13, I'll get to her again later on down the line. My brother Michael is another story completely. It seems there's always a bo...
