dancing to my own drummer, if not singing to my own drummer too, or being my own drummer to begin with. Poesia le amo tambien, eine Poete wird Ich mein leben lang sein. Es gibt mir keine optionen. Was wurdest du tun?
I have enough friends already... and some of them I'm not even sure I want. It's so hard to tell, that I guess you just have to be grateful for everybody, faults and beauties alike. La gente no se sabe como se van. y yo tanpoco. aber neimand kann mich sagen dass alle luete schlimme sind.
There are so many good ones to mention. once again too much good stuff to mention, most of the people who will see this know me well enough to know what I think... most genres have good and bad, just like all things in life, and no one ever agrees on what is good and bad. recently I have been listening to "Cuba y Espana" by Compay Segundo. It's such a catchy song. Compay really lived an incredible life, too. I'm looking for some new fodder for my collection, though, so if anyone has some suggestions I'm interested.
once again too much good stuff to mention, I mostly am into funny movies, because life is too serious and scary as it is, what with VD's and little idiot kids with destructive streaks, and Heroin....YIKES!!!! Clerks, Grosse Point Blank, just saw a pretty cool movie called Blood Diamond, it was better than I expected it to be. I tried to watch Lawrence of Arabia, but between the bad TV, and the bad DVD and the 70s filming quality, it put us all to sleep. Love Family guy I have it on video so I'm putting it in video because TV is evil and family guy is awesome, Chapelle show (naturally), and yes ladies and gentelman what you've all been waiting for, my ultimate shame, STAR WARS!!!! yes, I am that lame, I even like the new ones.
Godamn I hate that sh*t, and it sucks you in. Especially reality TV. I am almost to the point where I understand the draw too... man America is wierd.
Robert Asprins M.Y.T.H I.N.C. series... for those of you silly potter fans, go out and read these, it's fantasy for adults... you'll laugh your brains off... throw away those potty training pants and read a real fantasy. Also finished reading Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass again, I love the mixture of poetry and prose, it's truly a work of literary art, even if the guy was a pedefile on opium. I just took a class on british irish novel, the book I read was called Wise Children by Angela Carter, a must read for anyone who loves(or is addicted to)the stage. Be careful, politics and art are so much more connected than we think. Just finished On a Pale Horse by Piers Anthony, it's the first in the incarnation of immortality series, and I forgot how good they are, really some pretty pointed social commentary, especially for the 80's and it's still pertinent. When I read em the first time I didn't even pick up on it, I was so young. Totally worth the second read.
I don't think I have any personal heros, I could name some epic heros... but I don't think anyone needs a refresher on that.
