My Interests

Performing and writing comedy, playing drums, bass, and guitar, karaoke, drinking, eating, sleeping, playing basketball, both the real thing and NBA live 2006, drawing, running, learning things because I am interested not because I want to make money or sound smart in conversation. Being true to myself and others at all times.

I'd like to meet:

Those who seek enlightenment.

Music:

I love all kinds of music I've been listening to a lot of The Cure, Tears for Fears, Eddie Money, Hum, Nirvana, Prince, and a lot of random 80's songs. I love to write music too but I don't know how to play a single cover tune. I really just like to play my own stuff.

Movies:

Well there's the all time fav's like Dumb and Dumber, Forest Gump and Pretty much the majority of Van Damme's flicks. One of my new favorites is "The Butterfly Effect" that movie just flat out kicked ass. I love time travel movies. I love movies that make you think about them afterwards like Castaway, or The Truman Show. A new movie that I really like is What the bleep do we know.

Television:

I'm a huge fan of sitcoms. I'm going to write a sitcom and maybe even star in it (I haven't decided on that part yet). Some of my favorites are Seinfeld, Friends, Everybody loves Raymond, News Radio, Night Court, The King of Queens, Will and Grace, Married with Children, That 70's show, I also like a lot of Cult following type shows too, like Get a Life (Chris Elliott needs another sitcom), Mr. Show with Bob and David, The Family Guy, and the list goes on and on.

Books:

I'm not too into reading novels but I do like to read other types of books like I got the whole Far Side collection, some books written by artist Salvador Dali, The alchemist (which was very good), I think my favorite books were Forest Gump and Gump & Co. I haven't been reading much lately but I have been doing a lot of writing.

Heroes:

Lot's of comedians, my mom, Oh yeah and that dude that cut the rope when I was tied to some train tracks I guess he makes the list too.

My Blog

Don’t stop Believin’

Here lately I haven't been performing stand-up that much. I think since I left Atlanta I've only been on stage maybe 10 or 11 times. It used to be I would have that many times racked up in a period of...

I wear deodorant. Why? I don't know. Actually I do know. I wear deodorant for other people. Which is why I'm sick of it. I wear deodorant so other people will approve of the way I smell. That's stupid...

A New Chapter?

It's funny how things can change over night. The whole time I've been here in Washington I've wanted to move back to Atlanta. The only thing I really liked about being here was that I get to be around...

My Fear

Yesterday I almost stabbed myself in the eye with a knife. I didn't want to tell this story because it reveals my biggest fear, but I figure maybe it will help me get over it somehow if I do. So...

Short Descriptions of my Favorite Comedians

In no particular order Jim Lehner- Jim makes me giggle (that's right...giggle) over the stupidest things. He's quick and random. Favorite Jim Lehner joke- This is my impression of Flava Flave drowning...
