Having graduated from an acting conservatory, I find myself one of the 95% of actors that are not employed as actors. I attempt to write films, but instead find myself writing short stories that are far to depressing to ever be published. And after some time half-heartedly seeking work as an actor, I found myself disenchanted with the industry and have taken some time out to try and rediscover my creativity. I play bass, although I'm not in a band at the moment.
I like a lot of indie films and music (I'm the girl that goes into the couple of indie record stores in Brisbane and manages to get blank looks when I ask for music that I want and generally get told it doesn't exist... and yet it somehow ends up in my music collection). I can tell you the first non-animated feature film I saw (Labyrinth), what happened on the way there (the train broke down), how old I was then (six) and what cinema it was in (The Hoyts Regency - Brisbane). I can't give you all those details about the first theatre production I saw - I was four and it had bees in it and that's all I remember - that and there was lots of black and yellow. However I can tell you that my first theatre production was a re-write of a fairy tale that I wrote, directed and stared in myself at age 6.

*I have 3 tattoos
*I have 5 piercings (2 in each ear and my nose)
*I have a scar on my knee from playing football (soccer)
*I once got kicked out of a pub because the people I was with insulted a (crap) band and the band followed us into the next pub and complained to the bouncers
*I suck onto the set of Farscape while an episode was being filmed. Nobody noticed.
*I have 7 rescued guinea pigs and am involved with various guinea pig rescues/shelters.
