I am here for Friends

About Me

In the spirit of my ancestors, my people, and my family, Joaquin Q Malik rises from the depth of the realities developed and cultivated through 500+ years of manifest destiny, conquest and colonization.Joaquin, in the spirit of two men, one the revolutionary who fought the westward expansion of European America and the other the one man who has the most profound impact on my life.Malik, in the spirit of the man whose words, discipline, spirit, and courage ignited the masses to demand more than what the master had taught to expect.Q, in the spirit of the youth whose spirit and energy, while mischievous and misguided, will ultimately free the peoples of the world from the shackles of slavery, whether it be physical, mental, emotional, spiritual, historical or intellectual. An educator, historian, activist, organizer, mouthpiece, and, most importantly, a father, this work is done following the teachings of my elders. Focusing on the circles of life and humanity, starting with the inner circle of self and moving towards the outer circle of nations, through the internal balance and harmony of the physical, spiritual, and mental elements of humanity, our work is not yet done... some would say it has barely begun.
