About Joo$ Middle-Eastern born, Bostonian raised, with a New York state of mind, Joos stands at the top of the ladder amongst young rappers. Joo$ is a 19 year old rapper that was born in Beruit, Lebanon January 1, 1989 and moved to Lawrence, Ma in 1990 at the age of one. At the ripe age of 19 he has the mature sound of rappers twice his age. His unique sound has a flavor that is unforgettable. Joo$ has been in love with music since he was a toddler and started rapping at the age of 13. Growing up where money was scarce Joo$ didn’t have much of a childhood. One thing that he could rely on was music because it was in everything around him. Although much resistance from his parents, Joo$ decided at the age of 16 to pursue a career in rapping when others were still in high school. He received his GED and started working hard in the studio creating tracks. Growing up in Lawrence Joo$ had negative influences all around him. His friends did drugs, gang-banged, and he has lost alot of friends along on the way, which has given him more inspiration to write lyrics. He has the ability to shed light into the daily struggle and writes about it so others going through it can listen and relate. Joo$ has performed already in stages in Tampa, Fl and also in Lawrence, Ma along with other notable underground rappers. He been featured on several mixtapes such as: DJ ERKELS, DJ RADIO, DJ GREEN LANTERN and many more. Joo$ takes music serious so that one day he can prove to his peers that it can also, “put bread on the table.â€
