Biography -
While music on the mainstream seems to be taking a decline, a new sound is coming from Florida; it’s the sound of Nawlage. "Nawlage is power even though I don’t spell it right!" he says on a track. Born in California, raised in Massachusetts, and spending his summers in New York gave Nawlage exactly that, knowledge! Knowing what’s hot all over the country definitely gave him an advantage. In his first year of recording he was dropping heat that was comparable to even veterans in the game.... Born Aquiles Espinosa to Dominican parents he was taught to embrace his culture, which allows him to flip it in Spanish too. In his then hometown Lawrence, Mass dissing local rappers and performing at local events made Nawlage well known which took him from recording with headphones and a tape player to laying down tracks at the studio. So what can you expect from Nawlage? "All I know how to do is make hits" he says and you can anticipate exactly that. Nawlage is preparing to drop the first of many epic albums in 2006.
