creating a wonderful dream (row, row, row your boat) for my son and me...DESIGN--architecture, interiors (modern), industrial (products and furn), graphic design (typography rules), web design... i love to collaborate on projects. MUSIC.... i won't lie and say "i like all types" (hate country, tolerate rap...) but my music palette is rather eclectic. used to be a rave dj, back in the "old days". human behavior, social nuances, urban life, our 2 crazy cats, other peoples' pets, mind-expanding conversation/commune, enjoying Vitamin D from the sun, the coastal breeze, collaboration with creatives of all kind, LIVING
those not afraid of unconventionality, innovation, CHANGE, progress (even at the price of setbacks), honesty, VISION and SOUL
this will never be comprehensive... but in rotation recently: FAITHLESS (hands down my favorite "getcha-groove-on" choons), new releases by: new order (they are STILL a step ahead of the main mainstream), electronic (by association and nostalgia for new order), duran duran... then there's massive attack, portishead (for too much alone time), frou frou, stereolab (on occasion... thanks chris, wherever you are these dayz), air, kruder and dorfmeister, the killers, bjork, perfume tree (some more groov-licious stuff), secret machines (thanks again mr. coomey), irresistable force.........
hero, amelie, garden state, eternal sunshine of the spotless mind, harry potter and the prisoner of azkaban, spun, fight club, american beauty, koyanisqatsi, what dreams may come, immortal beloved, instinct, momento... i'm sure there are more... just can't conjure them (can't wait to start checking out some INDIE stuff!!)
not watching much these days... but i enjoy catching fine living, modern marvels, megastructures, any of the remake your life/space programs, family guy, sex and the city and that about does it for now...
pronoia-the antidote to paranoia, the televisionary oracle (both forementioned by a benevolent renegade called rob bresney), toltec path, recently read "divinci code" (thanks tracey!) and found it rather interesting. maybe i'll read more on subjects like that... books about architecture (eye candy) and back when i had TIME to read for pleasure... i was reading a lot of books that could be referred to as "metaphysical" like carlos castenada, chakra and feng shui books, stuff about world religion, buddhism/meditation, terence mckenna, consciousness, anything by alan watts, psychology, and the like
