Both actively listening and composing music, geography, DJing, mathematics, reading obscure books, organizing gothic gatherings, filmmaking, urban exploration, theater, soccer, eccentric people, hiking, exotic food, dark clothing and of course Rats!
I am personally interested in meeting the beautiful and the ugly, the avant-garde, intellectuals, poets, engineers, dancers, chefs, idealists, atheists, spiritualists, skeptics, believers, writers, film fanatics, video game addicts, geeks, freaks, anyone and no one, the whole range of human expression, with the exception of mediocre people that waste their time criticizing instead of creating.
I like a lot of music, from EBM to Darkwave, from Old school Goth to Dark Electro, etc ad-infinitum. It is just very hard to categorize my likes, all I know is that the music I listen to has to have one of two characters, one to be heroic, or two to be dark. Now if you ask me to name three of the most seminal bands I like, I would definitely say Therion, VNV Nation and Laibach.
Apocalypse Now Redux, Delicatessen, Amelie, The Gene Generation, V for Vendetta, Night Watch, Willard, What Dreams May Come, Suicide Circle, Manhunter, in between a few.
Television the drug of the masses, it is as mesmerizing as repugnant. This is especially true when one needs to take care of things and procrastination ensues. Why lie? Yes I do watch television, but the good stuff. Shows like the ones on PBS, as well as the ‘The World Game.’
I have several, I prefer naming authors, I like Chuck Palahniuk, Poppy Z. Brite, Edgard A. Poe, Jose Mauro de Vasconcelos, Jennifer Toth, Nancy Kilpatrick, and many others.
Michael Collins, Guy Fawkes, Crispin Hellion Glover, Don Quixote, Eamon de Valera, and Dr. Strangelove do I need to say more?
