About Me


Well I guess the first words that someone generally uses to describe me is "sports fanatic". I like to think of myself also as someone with a big heart, a good head on his shoulders and someone who tries to be the best friend he can be. I love to go out and about or chill at home and watch TV. I am in my element or state of nirvana I guess when I am at a game or out on the lake or river. I have learned the sand and the pavement can be fun too. I am all about movies, poker night, or even occasionally reading a good book. I love my family big time as well as those friends that always have my back. I just enjoy a good time - whatever that is!

My Interests

Love sports! Love to waterski, jetski, relax near the water. I love road trips to Las Vegas, San Diego, Big Bear or anywhere. I follow the Dodgers, Lakers, Los Angeles Kings, BYU Cougars, San Diego Chargers and more recently, NASCAR.

I'd like to meet:


Well there is nobody in particular I would like to meet since I love meeting all types of people. However, I do love meeting people that can teach me new things and help me discover new things about myself and others. Some things I have learned so far from others and for myself:

    The Dodgers will break my heart each year ... and it will usually be the Padres fault. Your family is not always related to you. Coldstone ice cream shops are always too close by when I am trying to eat healthier. The best gift you can give someone is to try and see an argument or discussion from their point of view. Even if you don't agree with the other person's opinion, respect and try to understand it. It's okay to be wrong once and a while - as long as you realize it and learn from it. The BCS is a monopolist sham. Lake Powell is heaven. Las Vegas is really cheap the week before Christmas. Las Vegas is really expensive the week after Christmas. Sometimes friends just need to ramble and vent to you. Sometimes they don't want to say anything at all. Either way, be there for them. Southern California is the greatest place on Earth to live. If you are afraid to try something, definitely try it. Don't ever give up on yourself. We are always learning and growing. It's impossible to eat just one of Tito's tacos. I will probably own a wave runner before I own a house, and I am okay with that. Never go over the lip of a sand dune without stopping to see what's on the other side. Greasy food tastes so much better after 1 am. The Angels are NOT in Los Angeles. Hurting more than you ever thought possible only means you were able to love more than you ever thought possible. I miss my dad. I learned more than I realized from him. Don't ever be afraid to trust, no matter what you've been through. Some sense of spirituality is important. Spirituality can be anything to anyone and should be respected. It's never a bad idea to humble yourself every now and then. Liquor then beer, you're in the clear. Beer then liquor, never sicker. Water - no worries. You are probably much harder on yourself than anyone else ever would be. Disneyland is still fun in your thirties. The Kings will never win the Stanley Cup, even if the Lightning and Hurricanes can. The salary cap is creating ridiculous parity in the NFL. The parity is wreaking havoc on my survivor pool picks. The strength of a friendship isn't determined in years but experiences. Always find the good in someone. If there isn't any that you can find, time to get him or her out of your life. Or time to look again. Finally, have fun!! Loosen up! Life is too short to be too deep all the time. However, make sure you take the important things seriously ... like love, friends and family. But have fun with it!!
