Does anyone actually read this stuff, or am I typing this for nothing? Thought so! I could pretty much write anything I want here, and it wouldn't really matter all that much, would it? La la.....pink fuzzy elephants....dancing in the street.....with blue polka dotted umbrellas.....
Well, maybe someone out there does actually read this, so whoever you are, this section's for you!
I'm Matt, but you may have already gathered that from the top of my page, above the pic. I'm a drummer......I have drums and drum stuff laying around in just about every room of my apartment! I'm currently working on 2 drumming techniques, the Moeller and the Gladstone, to improve my facility as a drummer. I love music, just about every kind of music, especially country and rock. I like to cook, in fact I'm currently eating a grilled pork chop I just made, if you really wanted to know. I like interesting people, and interesting places, and interesting things.....interesting, isn't it? I also have a day job, I work for a large retail establishment, which may be one of the main reasons I come home every night and take out my aggression on the drums!
If you don't know me......I just might be a really interesting person to know. If you do already know me, then you know I'm not......or am I? Hmmm?

My Interests

Music, Baseball (Go Tigers), Camping, Fishing, Cooking (yes I can cook), hunting wolverines with my uncle, and training to be a cage fighter! (don't be jealous caus' I'm in the chatroom all day chatting with babes!)

I'd like to meet:

Anyone and everyone.....well.....not everyone.....but most people......well......some people.......um........a few people who are cool enough to be real and real enough to be cool.......and Ernie Harwell!

Music:

Everything from Rock to Country, Jazz, Blues, Classic Rock, Classical and everything in between. Don't really like Rap, but I can tolerate it if I have to.

Movies:

War movies, movies based on true stories, action movies etc. I love a good comedy, and a horror flick every once in a while. Chick flicks are ok, but better if you have a chick to see them with, of course.

Television:

Yeah! after 25 years I finally have Cable!! Still don't get to watch it that much, but when I do, I watch cooking shows on the Food Network, the History Channel, Discovery and sometimes CMT... I know, I'm a dork....or a redneck! Either works lol!

Books:

Currently reading Ghost Rider,Travels on the Healing Road by Neil Peart. Also For whom the Bell Tolls, A Farewell to Arms, and a novel by Gabriel Garcia Marquez.

Heroes:

Neil Peart, a very gifted author and musician. Gene Krupa, Steve Smith, Steve Gadd, Buddy Rich, Louie Bellson, Rick Latham, Ringo Starr, Joe Satriani and a long list of other musicians that have influenced my life and playing. Oh, and especially Animal from the Muppets, who inspired me to start drumming in the first place! You Rock Animal!

Why is the music biz so jacked up?
