Hi, I'm Dave Costner- just a good ole boy from PoDunk, NC. I watch reality TV with a dog or cat in my lap when I'm not practicing with the band (www.myspace.com/blindmanifest)or being an eBay crack whore. I've been around the block a few times, surviving more than one busted marriage- but it's all good and I've had a great girl in my life since 2001: (http://www.myspace.com/jerseyyankeegirl) Mary is an administrator for a healthcare concern who holds a pair of Masters degrees in Mental Health Counseling, with only 17 credit hours standing between her and a Doctorate; needless to say she's a brainiac, plus she looks like Mrs. America - which is a good combination in my book!
I have a worthless Bachelor of Science in Biology from UNC, but it looks pretty cool hanging over the toilet bowl in the half bath. I have used this degree for absolutely nothing, since all my work revolves around Real Property, but the 4 years I spent in Chapel Hill were some of the best of my life - so all that money Mom & Dad paid were well spent! I don't look much different than I did back then except I'm a little wider in the cheeks and thinner at the temples.
I'd have to say that I've lived a charmed life, and if I shed this mortal coil tomorrow, I would have few regrets.
Odds and ends: I have a cat and a dog. I'm a reformed smoker. I don't drink beer. I have a wearable t-shirt from 1976. I have no gall bladder. I don't dye my hair, but always get accused. I can't hear well in my left ear. (more of me in the monitor, please) I have nicknames: Cosmo, Tater, Koz, Doc and Little DC. I have close to 100 hats, but I never wear them. Occasionally, I still get stage-fright. I wear shorts in the winter. I drink Monsters. I see dead people ;)
