art, pirates and too many more to name.
Orlando Bloom, Johnny Depp, Hunter Thompson (unfortunately he died), Napoleon (he's dead too), Jon deMartin, Paris Latsis, any creative person in the arts (Michelangelo, da Vinci, Bernini, Rubens, writers, composers etc.. ) and probably a dozen other people living and dead. Oh and anyone with a lively sense of humor.
ooooooohhh I like lots of music. Some of my fav bands are Good Charlotte, Liz Phair, Evanescence, Howie Day, The Killers, Matchbox Twenty, Collective Soul, Bowling for Soup, Snow Patrol, Jet, D.H.T., Black Eyed Peas, the Gorillaz, and Blink 182. I also play the piano a wee bit and like classical as well.
My favorite movie is Pirates of the Caribbean. Troy was good and I like Tarantino films too Pulp Fiction and Reservior Dogs are great. But I like the old classics too with Clark Gable, Myrna Loy, Joan Crawford etc. I also like Eddie Murphy movies, Harlem Nights is excellent. And Monty Python's Holy Grail is one of my favs. Just about any movie (with exceptions to scifi) gets my approval.
Friends, Beverly Hillbillies, Andy Griffith, and just about any other show on TV Land. All those old cartoons like The Flintstones, the Jetsons, the Smurfs, Hanna Barbera stuff, The Family Guy, etc... I also like shows like the Cold Case files (I love mysteries) and alot of stuff on Comedy Central. Oh and how can I forget my British comedies such as Are You Being Served? and Dr. Who, and the one with the Buckets...can't remember the title (the British have an odd sense of humor and I love it!)
I read all the time and I like all kinds of books except scifi. Mostly historical fiction, biographies, art, art history, but I also read stuff like Ovid (I'm fascinated with mythological tales), Jane Austen, Charles Dickens, and Hunter Thompson (the Rum Diary is one of my all time favorite books). Also Sir Thomas More's "Utopia". Its a hard read but worth it. I'm partial to poetry by Byron, Sir Walter Scott, Wordsworth, and Percy Shelly. I guess I'm a Romantic at heart (Dr. Fred Green would say Romantic with a capital "R"). Oooh Oscar Wilde's "The Importance of Being Earnest" too. "A Venetian Affair", "The da Vinci Code", "Michelangelo and the Pope's Ceiling", "The Agony and the Ecstasy", "The Three Musketeers", "Quicksilver", Paradise Lost", "The Count of Monte Christo", "A Pirate of Exquisite Mind", "Athenais", The Notebooks of Leonardo da Vinci", "The Painter's Daughter", "Under the Black Flag", "Casanova in Bolzano", "I Am Madame X", "Touched With Fire", "The Rape of the Masters", "Heloise and Abelard", "Breakfast At Tiffany's" and "Girl With A Pearl Earring" just to name a few. If I don't quit listing them now, I'll be up all night! I like keeping up with current events so I usually scan through a newspaper, my favorite comic strip is Pearls Before Swine.
Hmm.. Michelangelo, Mr. Brian Barr (my art professor from Ga.), George W. Bush (LOL I'm sooooo kidding about that one). My other heroes would be Captain Jack Sparrow and Captain Henry Morgan (the pirate not my rabbit).
