After years of collecting I started playing records at RODEO BAR, Göttingen, back in 2003. Coming from hip-hop I was always interested in soulmusic originals. 1998 I started buying reggae records and soon the interest in the origin of reggae was born, especially after discovering STUDIO ONE records as a source of music which really moves my body and soul. In 2003 a friend asked me to play in his bar, TOM BATTERY..S JAMAICA HOT was born. Throughout the years this weekly party became an important part of the reggae scene between Hannover and Frankfurt. Because of my love to Studio One and other early reggae stuff, the idea of my party was to connect basic reggae and modern stuff by inviting other reggae selectas and let them play their styles. These juggling sessions made me love reggae music... In 2006 I moved to Berlin, fell in love with Dubstep and ME ROCK DEM WICKED BABYLON HARD IN AN IRATION STYLEE EVERY DAY...
