Growing up in suburban England is pretty dull, so let’s skip the first chapters of Alone in The Dark’s life and start off with a dream. AITD (as he’s known to his friends) moved to Australia after having spent a few years fighting in the emo wars.Around this time AITD stopped listening to most music and spent 6 months literally only listening to Boston and Wu-Tang Clan. Somewhere during this conceptual walk in the musical wilderness came a vision in that dream we talked about earlier and actually didn't start off with in the end: Anyway the vision was this: Acid House, Hip Hop, Cock Rock, all of them are about excesses; why not weld them together as some sort of ugly toy to be played with by children ages 18 and up? Thus Alone in the Dark came to musical reality.Alone in the Dark, despite appearances, is not actually Darth Vader.
