Dan

I've been beat up, I've been thrown out but I'm not down.

About Me

I am a geek.

I have reached that point in my life when I have begun to look into the past and regret the things I didn't do. However, I have not yet reached the point in life when it is too late to do anything about it.

I enjoy reading. Exploring someone else's imagination and fusing it with my own is an activity that could quite possibly sustain my life if oxygen and food ran out. I prefer hardcover books to paperbacks but I'm not a snob about it. Paperbacks are superb for travelling or when money is tight. When I have the money though, I love the feel of a hardcover book. The weight of the book makes me feel like I am holding the weight of the author's effort and ideas in my hands.

I am a sarcastic, dry witted chocoholic with a taste for wine. My sense of humor gets me into more trouble than it gets me out of. I laugh from deep within when I am with people I love, causing my eyes to squint and a vein to throb in my forehead.

Pan's Labyrinth

Pan's Labyrinth, as clearly noted on all available research materials, is rated R for graphic violence.  Therefore, I feel no sympathy for the idiot woman who brought her 2-, 5-, and 7-year-old c...
