I love to travel, shop, study, write, attend lectures, and participate in them as well. I like to participate in the development and stratification of both political events and dinners. I also love philosophy, especially religious philosophy; I enjoy theory, and photography, especially Film! I am currently writing a book on the political importance of Terrorism in the 21 Century. I love to read, and see movies; mostly all kinds especially romantic ones!! I enjoy driving, and hearing music. I am person who like’s to do all kinds of out of the ordinary things, which means that I am a very spontaneous. My favorite activities are as follows; I love parachuting, scuba diving, horse back riding, and to race hard in the streets of L.A. In addition, to these activities I like to attend dinners in which people can have a profound dialogue, rather than just talk nonsense; I like educated talks which carry knowledge, I am an enemy of just getting together for dinners to talk nonsense. Don’t invite me, I won’t go!!! But if you have something interesting to say I will hear you, no matter who you are; so just speak up, and let’s see what you have!!! I love to shop like crazy, especially for my friends; that is just the way I am. I have always been that way, and even though some people questions my actions, I don’t really care, especially if they are people with no importance attached to them self’s. We do live in a free country, in which freedom is one of our most essential gifts; so if you don’t understand how I “function†I don’t really care especially if you’re not an important person!!!! I do like to be in good company; however, my definition of “good company†is being surrounded my people who care for me, and who above all respect me for who I am; that is truly the way it should be!!Acapulco, on the Pacific Ocean coast, is located in the State of Guerrero. It is a major city, a tourist attraction and a seaport. The first inhabitants of this area are believed to have settled around 2000 BC(some pottery and stone objects were found). The Nahua Indians settled in this area of Mexico well before the Aztecs. Never conquered by the powerful Aztecs, Acapulco and the Nahuas established trade routes and exchanges with them during centuries. During the sixteenth century, the Spanish arrived and named the city Santa Lucia. It became part of the Spanish crown in 1528. The Spanish used it as a shipyard and point of departure to explore South America and Asia. Trade was intense between Manilla and Acapulco for 2 centuries. Great treasures from Asia arrived, including silk and porcelain. This trade soon attracted various pirates including the famous Sir Francis Drake. The city was destroyed by an earthquake in 1776 but was fully reconstructed within 2 years. The Mexican Independence war sealed the end of the Spanish trade from Acapulco and the city was razed during the war. Acapulco slowly went back to the anonymity. The gold rush in Panama, the interest of rich Europeans after 1920 and the visit of he Prince of Wales, future King Edward VIII, helped the city recover its past. But the construction of many resorts improved the city infrastructure in the 50’s, and this was a decisive fact which facilitated the rise of the city, especially on the tourist market. All the rich and famous of Hollywood became regular guests (including Elizabeth Taylor, John F. Kennedy, Frank Sinatra, Judy Garland, and many more). The democratization of the hotels in the 70’s made Acapulco one of the best tourist resort in the world. Its proximity to Mexico City also makes it a natural spot for locals to spend their vacations.

She studied Chemistry at UPV/EHU where she met the rest of the group; she has also collaborated with other singers, and composers. La Oreja de Van Gogh is a Spanish rock/pop band. The name of the band references the famous impressionist painter Vincent Van Gogh who cut off his own ear. Their songs are written (both lyrics and music) mostly by Amaia Montero in collaboration with Pablo Benegas and Xabi San Martín, with themes usually including love, friendship, and whatever can happen in a relationship between two people. The band was formed in 1996, when guitarist Pablo Benegas, bassist Álvaro Fuentes, keyboardist Xabi San Martín, and drummer Haritz Garde met at a local university. Garde was the vocalist until Amaia Montero joined the band by request from Benegas after meeting her at a dinner party. Much later, the band played at El Concurso de Pop/Rock de San Sebastián, at which they were discovered and later signed by Sony Music. Their first album, Dile Al Sol (Tell The Sun), debuted in 1998; it went to the top of the Spanish music charts, and won the Premio Ondas al Artista del Año. After numerous tours, the group released two more albums, El Viaje De Copperpot (Copperpot's Journey) and Lo Que Te Conté Mientras Te Hacías La Dormida (What I Told You While You Pretended To Be Asleep) as well as two DVDs: La Oreja De Van Gogh with material from their first two records, and a live performance called Lo que te Conté Mientras te Hacias la Dormida: Gira 2003.
