My Interests

Stuff - most stuff is good. It would be easier if I was to say parsnips DO NOT interest me.... this saves me listing things that DO interest me.... so stuff sums it up pretty damn well I'd say. Below is a picture of a laser show I quite liked recently - that is an example of stuff.....

I'd like to meet:

I would like to discover new sounds and other lovely things that make me smile....I would also like to meet anyone else who loves these Sesame Street clips below, involving beautiful movement of shapes and colours, teamed with no fuss sound effects.....that would also be a little bit fun. Yeah.

Music:

My world. Anything that makes me feel. The list is eternal.

Movies:

Mainly arthouse, foreign and docos. I generally find something special about most film, except for sci-fi and westerns. My favourites include Paris Je T'aime, Dancer in the Dark, Amelie, The 7 Up Series, Kill Bill, Stand By Me, The Lost Boys, Candy, Never Ending Story, Willow, The Princess Bride, Labyrinth, Rabbit Proof Fence, Garden State, Napolian Dynamite, Temple of Doom, Back to the Future, Gremlins, Shawshank Redemption, In the Name of the Father,You & Me & Everyone We Know, Saw I and II, all Freddy Krueger movies, Peanut Butter Solution, The Goonies, The Brat Patrol, Teenwolf, Terminator II, everything that is Anne of Green Gables, Garbage Pail Kids, The Shiralee, .....to be continued.......

Television:

Any British comedy, some lame Aussie comedy - the lamer the better, Cold Case, House, (although they clash these days), Creature Comforts, Simpsons, that Raven show thats on Saturday mornings at 11.30am, its a great excuse to lay in bed until its over.... , The Collectors, Antique Roadshow and similar when its cold and rainy.... to be continued.....

Books:

True crime, memoirs, autobiographies, trash mags......to be continued.....

Break It Down

I dont know why I get off on listening to pieces of music and get excited when the "break it down" bit comes on... when really all it is, is a bridge section wherein the beats are heaps simplified.......

Greeting cards. I have a complete love for greeting cards. I just want to buy them all! They are gorgeous. I could stare at them all day. Its not the "greeting" part of the card I find wonderful....
