I'd like to meet:

Like minded souls.

Music:

Where do I start on this one? I am into shit-tons of music. Mainly New Wave, Post-Punk, Indie and Psychedelia. Favorite Bands: The Chameleons, Editors, Associates, The Fall, The Church, Julian Cope/Teardrop Explodes, Kraftwerk, Cocteau Twins, Mew, Pale Saints, Love, The Primitives, Stone Roses/Ian Brown, Human League, The Creation, My Bloody Vanentine, Dead 60s, The Ruts, Spacemen 3, The Jam, Comsat Angels, House Of Love, King Tubby, Blur, The Brian Jonestown Massacre, early Simple Minds & Orchestral Manoeuvres In The Dark, Siouxse And The Banshees, Plasticland, Verve, Outrageous Cherry, NEU, Catatonia, Bloc Party, Babybird, Eyeless In Gaza, Boo Radleys, Porcupine Tree, The Motorcycle Boy, McCarthy, Talk Talk, Stereolab, Kasabian, The Earlies, Gang Of Four, Primal Scream, Romeo Void, Japan, Warm Jets, The Go! Team, Sambassadeur, Royksopp, Boards Of Canada, Echo & The Bunnymen, Air, The Byrds, Adorable, The Chills, Cornershop, The Blue Nile, Alpine Stars, The Merry Go Round, Innoncence Mission, Scott Walker, James, Pale Fountains, Orange Juice, Franz Ferdinand, Laika, Wire, Belle And Sebastian, Bauhaus, Nourallah Brothers, Josef K, Everything But The Girl, Slowdive, Suede, Xymox, Dubstar, Client, Pet Shop Boys, The Dandy Warhols, Shriekback, Pulp, The Left Banke, Air Formation, XTC, The Coral, Joy Division, The Clientele, Sneaker Pimps, Saint Etienne, Tom Vek, The Smiths, World Of Twist, Kula Shaker, The Stranglers, Durutti Column, Felt, Silver Sun, Kissing The Pink, Ride, Sasha, Trash Can Sinatras, Scritti Politti and on and on and on... Always looking for hidden new wave/psych treasures so if you have any...get in touch. Big fan of dub & psychedelic compilations too. I am a big collector of rare music videos from the 60s to present. I also like hunting down rare LPs and 45s from the 60s up to now. I am in the long process of burning as much of this collection as I can to CD and DVD. Love to trade.

Movies:

Into mostly Horror and camp films of the John Waters variety but am up for almost anything as long as the story is good or the film is unique in some way. Some of my favorite films might be Charlie & The Chocolate Factory, Female Trouble, The Women, Wrong Turn, The Hills Have Eyes, Death In Venice, 9 to 5, Animal House, Rock N Roll High School, Repulsion, Desperate Living, Dig, Aliens, Eating Raoul, Network, Humoresque, Who's Afraid Of Virginia Wolfe?, His Girl Friday, Brief Encounter, The Lover, Night Of The Living Dead, Star Wars trilogy, Southpark Bigger Longer Uncut, Smashing Time, Billy Liar, Raggedy Man. This list could go on but I need some new film recommendations as I feel a bit out of touch in this arena. Any thoughts?

Television:

Since I don't have cable, I have to rely on other people to tell me what's good on television. Suffice to say, I don't hear too many recommendations from people but I did enjoy Six Feet Under immensely. If I had VH1, I'm sure I'd be into the bands reunited series. I have only seen a few of those.

Books:

Not much of a book reader but I am currently into Rip It Up And Start Again from Simon Reynolds. Have also enjoyed Naked by David Sedaris.

Heroes:

I can't think of any heroes.
