Music (Blues, Rock, Soul, Funk, R and B), Computers and all things geeky. I also love machine knitting but haven't been able to do it much lately.
I'd like to meet:
Jonathan Edwards, (have loved his music for 30+ years), Bonnie Raitt, and the drunk that drove across my front yard and almost hit my daughter's bedroom a few years ago.
UPDATE: Mike and I met Jonathan and his lovely girlfriend Amy at his Dallas show on 2/16/07.
Jonathan is an approachable, very grounded, and genuinely kind man who is blessed with incredible talent and obviously still has the passion and love for his music and performing. His vocals, playing, and songwriting skills are better than ever, and Jonathan's warmth, stage presence and sense of humor made for one of the best shows we've seen in years. He just released "Live in Massachusetts" that IMHO is one of his best yet. He is currently on tour in support of this new release, so I highly recommend you check his website to see if he's headed your way. It's always been a great mystery to me why he hasn't received more attention; his music is extraordinary.
(Everyone's heard his seventies hit, "Sunshine", but if you haven't followed his music since then, you're missing out!)
