Ready-Made 4-hour Workshops:
1. Achieving Your Full Range of Health: Weekend workshop itinerary includes: Yoga for Energy; Negotiating a Restaurant Menu; Yoga to De-Stress; Healthy Eating Class; Power Yoga; Re-Packaging Your Pantry Class; Celebration Through Movement; and Grocery Shopping 101.
2. Yoga Artist's Retreat: You're alternately the artist and the "work of art" at this outdoor artist's retreat. Bring a yoga mat, snack, pencil sharpener, pad and pencils.
Design Your Own Workshop:

Specialty classes:
1. Weight-Loss Yoga for Beginners: This low-intensity, beginner's class integrates yoga postures and body sculpting exercises. It includes a Healthy Eating Class with our registered dietitian.
2. Higher Power Yoga: The focus of this high-impact class is connecting to your reserve, spiritual power, channeling your breath and energy with the Universe as one dynamic, karmic entity. It's designed to build your cardio-respiratory system as well as your strength, endurance and flexibility.
3. Yoga Dance: The flow of yoga, ballet, Middle Eastern dance and modern dance produce a flexible and strong dancer's physique. No dance experience required. Includes an Eating For Energy Class.
4. Sport Yoga: In this cross-training class for athletes, or prospective athletes, you use yoga to acquire sport-specific body dynamics. Includes an Eating For Athletes Class.
5. Flex-Time Yoga Lunch: Stay for one 30-minute session, or both. This class is broken into two short segments for working folks. It starts at noon with a gentle 30-minute yoga class. The last 30 minutes is power yoga.
6. Belly Dance (the feminine mystique): These Asian and Middle Eastern yoga and dance techniques have been passed down to help women beautify and fortify their bodies for the last 5,000 years.

Thank you to everyone who made it possible and enjoyed our stage full of local musicians: Matt Carbone, Dana Rogers, and Bob Carty, as well as Lana Sutton, Art Rahn, Kathy Rowell, Mike Kelley, and Jon Colston from Muse Gypsy!
Influences: Meet Yoga Physique:

President, Personal Trainer and Group Fitness Instructor Lana Sutton has been a student of yoga, aerobics, the defensive arts and dance for more than 25 years. She is a nationally certified personal trainer through Interactive Fitness Trainers Association (IFTA). She is a nationally certified Sport Yoga Instructor through National Exercise & Sports Trainers Association (NESTA). Lana is also a Barbizon USA-trained modeling coach. Love of dance is the inspiration for her fusion “YogaDance” classes. She has been an avid student of such dance disciplines as ballet, belly dance, jazz, ballroom, folk and modern dance. Her fusion “YogaDefense” classes are rooted in an extensive martial arts background, including Karate, Aikido (5th Kyu belt), and Taekwondo (3 Gups). For fun, Lana hikes, bikes, and is a “contra dance gypsy.” “Gypsying” is a fond name for attending contra (frontier-style social dance www.myspace.com/contradancing) association events all over the Southeast through the Chattanooga Traditional Dance Society. She is also an award-winning journalist, radio personality, graphic designer, photographer, illustrator, magazine writer and web-content manager, having a BA in Journalism from Auburn University. Lana has taught fitness classes at the City of Chattanooga Health & Wellness Center, the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, Sports Barn, Rush, YMCA and Hixson World Gym.

Certified Weight Management Counselor and Registered Dietitian Elizabeth Di Biase, RD, LDN, received her B.S. degrees in Nutrition and Psychology from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga. She completed her internship at the University Medical Center in Tucson, Arizona. The edge of science is always advancing, and Elizabeth stays on this edge. She is working towards becoming a certified WellCoach in alliance with the American College of Sports Medicine (ACSM) and the American Dietetic Association (ADA). She has worked in many areas of nutrition; including wellness, public health, program management, and clinical dietetics. She is a food and nutrition expert who can assist you in creating a healthy lifestyle by providing individualized, cutting-edge nutrition information based on the latest scientific evidence. Elizabeth takes a holistic approach by encouraging the unique balance between nourishing, clean, whole foods and physical activity.Elizabeth has more than 18 years of experience in the field of health and nutrition. She has taught fitness classes at the YMCA, has presented on various nutrition topics and has written articles, most notably for the Overseas American Dietetic Association and the American Dietetic Association practice group publications. Her areas of expertise are: Weight Management, Food Allergies and Gluten Intolerance, Digestive Disorders, Irritable Bowel, Menopause and Aging Support, Vegan/Vegetarian, Lowering Cholesterol and Blood Pressure, Heart Health, Osteoporosis, Diabetes, and Sports and Fitness Performance.
