I like anything that gets my head bobbin', my toe tapping or the poetry makes me think. I love music and I love the way I feel when I listen to it. The music I like has to have some element that grabs ahold of me and won't let me go. I'm actually really quite flexible when it comes to music, but there are always exceptions to the rule (as with anything in life) - I like rap but not gangsta rap and I dislike most new country but I like old country and bluegrass. I like heavy metal but only some industrial, speed and acid. I hate bubblegum pop! I love classic rock. I'm into most current alternative bands, a lot of indie stuff, and I'm into some different more ecclectic stuff. There's too much great music out there to listen to the bad. I guess it all comes down to how I feel about the individual song in the end. I LOVE MYSPACE MUSIC! I CAN'T GET ENOUGH!
I like action movies mostly - anything with explosions, martial arts, blood and gore (my roommate has rubbed off on me) and generally ass kicking action (hence the "gratuitously violent movies" in my general section).
I don't really watch a whole lot of tv but the shows I tend to watch are NCIS, Numb3rs, the Unit, all CSI's, Stargate, Dr. Who and cartoons (Scooby Doo, adult swim, Zim, Fairly Oddparents, Billy & Mandy, Foster's, Ed Edd and Eddy, and pretty much anything else with blatant stupidity).
It has been a minute since I have read a good book though I prefer crime novels. Some of my favorite writers are Patricia Cornwell, Sara Paretsky, Janet Evanovich, Sue Grafton and John Grisham. There are others but you kinda get the idea of what I like to read.
My parents, Judge Theresa Liston, Professor Ross, Gandhi, hmm . . . . uhhhhhh is this a test question? You know I find it very difficult in this day and age to find heroes in political figures and celebrities because of the rampant corruption and hypocricy that is afoot. And once again the bad (you know who you are) have ruined it for the heroworthy! :P
