Unity Center is a loving family environment.

About Me

At Unity Center, we offer a focus on spirituality in today’s world. We teach with a positive outlook, that God is present in every situation and that we have the potential to directly access the presence of God as wisdom, love, health, and ultimately joy. We believe that each person alive has the potential of fully realizing their most authentic self, which we call the Christ potential. We teach practical applications of our spiritual principles to apply to your daily lives, beginning today.Rev. Aliza Bloom is serving as Senior Minister at Unity Center beginning October 1, 2007. She is committed to being a living presence of God’s love, light, joy and peace. Her purpose is holding and creating space for deepening community and personal transformation in our individual lives, in our ministry and in the world. She celebrates both our divinity and our diversity. Rev. Aliza may be reached through the church office at 512-836-6372 and is available for special services, weddings, christenings, memorials and blessings. The Sacred Shelf Bookstore, Unity Center's growing bookstore ministry, features one of the largest assortments of metaphysical books, music and gifts available in central Texas. Pleasantly staffed by helpful, knowledgable volunteers the bookstore is open 10am-2pm Sunday through Friday as well as during special events at Unity Center.
Our labyrinth is a living breathing part of our church community. Walking the labyrinth has re-emerged today as a metaphor for the spiritual journey and a powerful tool of transformation. Our labyrinth was created to bless us as we journey together toward wholeness.

Unity Principles

God is absolute good, everywhere present—There is only ONE Presence and ONE Power in my life and in the universe, God the Good, Omnipotent-all powerful. God is infinite, unlimited, unchanging, unconditioned and eternal.
The Nature of Humankind is Divine—Within us is a divine potential spiritual perfection, a spark of divinity that the apostle Paul said is, “Christ in you, the hope of glory” (Col. 1:27). Our very essence is of God, and therefore we are also inherently good.
There is a Law of Mind Action known as Cause and Effect—Every effect we see and experience in our outer world is the result of a thought held in mind. As human beings, we create our experience by the activity of our thinking. Everything in the manifest realm has its beginning in thought.
Every person’s life can be transformed through prayer and meditation—Prayer is creative thinking that heightens the connection with God-Mind and therefore brings forth wisdom, healing, prosperity and everything good.
Truth can be practiced and lived in our everyday lives—Knowing and understanding the laws of life, also called Truth, are not enough; we must also live the Truth that we know, and that’s why Unity is called “Practical Christianity.”
